"I'm all broken up here bitch, I can't work!"
―Ronnie to Deborah about making money[src]

Template:Infobox character Ronnie White appears in the remake of Halloween, played by William Forsythe.

Biography

Ronnie White was an ill-tempered, alcoholic man who lived at the Myers residence. He was the abusive boyfriend of Deborah Myers. How he came to know Deborah is unknown, but it is reasonable to assume that the two met while Deborah was working as a stripper at the Rabbit in Red Lounge. At one point, he was involved in a motorcycle accident which fractured his left leg, left arm and two fingers on his right hand, which prevented him from working. [1] He was also a deadbeat who lived off of Deborah's earnings and used his injuries as an excuse to keep from working.

Michael's Disturbing Behavior

On Halloween day, Ronnie once again was being loud and abusive towards Deborah and her family. He did not stand any of her three children, although he did make remarks about Judith's body, which upset Deborah. Baby Angel's crying also bothered him, as he told Deborah that "all that fucker does is cry and shit". Young Michael was the one he hated the most as he could not understand why he wore a mask at all times and had pet rats, and thought he would grow up to get a sex change. When he discovered that Michael had been killing and mutilating his pets, he told him "That is some deep-ass serious faggoty-ass shit".

Ronnie's death

That night, Michael had finally snapped, and he found Ronnie passed out drunk on the living room couch. Securing him to the chair with a length of duct tape, Michael slit Ronnie's throat open with a kitchen knife. He peered over him wearing a clown mask so that Ronnie knew exactly who it was that killed him. Afterwards, Michael stabbed him multiple times in the face and chest. [2]

Notes & Trivia

  • Originally, the character of Ronnie White was only supposed to have a broken arm. Actor William Forsythe had fractured his leg shortly before shooting so Rob Zombie incorporated the injury into the script.
