Richard Hastings is a character who appeared in Halloween: White Ghost.
Biography[]
Richard Hastings was born in Cardiff, Wales. Throughout his life, Richard was known for being hard-working, quiet, and reclusive. Sometime in his life, Richard moved to Pontiac, Illinois where he met and married a woman named Katherine. He also managed to get a job as an electrician. On May 22, 1945, the couple welcomed a child they would name Christopher. As Christopher grew up, Richard would spend more time working and drinking than spend time with his son. Whenever Richard did arrive home, it was usually to sleep in the recliner. In the summer of 1958, Richard took a new job in the town of Haddonfield, Illinois, which was to wire houses. He soon found a new bar to drink and stayed out till midnight. Christopher did try to bond with his father, but Richard always refused and told his son that one day he would understand why he was always tired to come home. [2]
