Martin Warner (1950 - October 31 1978) is a character that is mentioned in Halloween: The First Death of Laurie Strode

Martin Warner had always wanted to be a firefighter as he grew up and he achieved his goal at the age of 17, as a member of the Haddonfield Volunteer Firefighters Association. Sometime in his life, he married a woman named Sandra and January 1978, they had a baby girl whom they named Lynn. Martin loved his job very much as he loved helping people, although it often worried his wife who feared for his safety.

On October 31st 1978, Martin responded to a frantic call at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital after an apparent explosion triggered a massive fire in the south wing. Martin, along with other firefighters managed to contain and extinguish the blase. At some point, Martin was separted from the rest of the group. After nearly an hour, the flames finally died down and Martin's colleagues congratulated one a job well done but Martin was nowhere to be found.

It was only after sifting through the still-smoking rubble that Warner's body was discovered amid the wreckage. Ivestigators speculate that he was struck by falling debris from structural damage caused to the roof. His neck was broken. However, Dr. Loomis believed that Michael might have had a hand in his death.

Martin had a memorial service that was held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 5, at Blakely's Funeral Home on Fremont Drive. He was buried at Mt. Sinclair cemetery.
