Josh Pinder is a character that only appears in the 1997 young adult novel The Old Myers Place.
Biography[]
Josh Pinder was a popular high school student at Haddonfield High School. Every girl in the school thought he was gorgeous and he was said to look exactly like Brad Pitt. He took an instant liking to Mary White and asked her out on a date. They went out and had a great date, despite Jeff Wayland warning Mary that he was dangerous. Josh's family was rich and owned a company he was set to inherit after he went to Harvard and got his Business degree.
Josh threw a Halloween party for the Haddonfield High students. When Mary arrived, he suddenly became aggressive and tried to rape her, but she escaped with the help of her cousin Julifer and her friend Michelle. Jeff came to her rescue, fighting with Josh before they were all chased away by Josh and his football friends. Before the events of the book, Josh apparently tried to rape a girl at Mt. Sinclair Cemetery, after she ran to Jeff for help.
