|Portrayed By:||Raymond O'Connor|
|First Appearance:||Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers|
On Halloween 1988, James gets two visitors, Attendant L. Evans and Attendant J. Black, there to take Michael Myers to Smith's Grove Sanitarium. James tells them "You never get used to the faces, never... Jesus ain't got nothin' to do with this place. Yeah, this is where society dumps its worst nightmares." He added that their patient, Michael Myers, was a notorious homicidal maniac responsible for a murderous killing spree in the town of Haddonfield, Illinois ten years earlier: "A decade ago, Halloween night, he murdered sixteen people, maybe more, trying to get to his sister. He nearly got her too. But his doctor, of all people, shot him six times. Then he set him on fire. Both of them nearly burned to death. Yeah, I'll be glad to see this one gone. Yes, indeed-y. Welcome to hell."
His role in the film is to warn of Michael's brutality and also to introduce the audience back to the character. James is best described as a security guard who takes his job a little too seriously.
