Will Sandin is an American actor, best known for his role as young Michael Myers in the original Halloween.
Notes and trivia[]
- Contrary to popular belief, Sandin did not play Michael for the entire opening scene. He only portrayed Michael for the unmasking. Six-year-old Michael's hands in the POV shots are actually that of producer Debra Hill because Sandin was not available for filming yet. If you watch closely, you can see that Michael's fingernails are manicured.
- Sandin later reprised the role for an additional scene with Donald Pleasence filmed for the 1981 TV release. The scene in question is set six months after the opening scene of the film, although young Michael is noticeably older.
