BiographyEdit

In the early 1990s, Cynthia and Mason Strode adopted a baby girl whom they named Laurie. They were unaware of her relation to the Myers family as she was dropped off at the hospital by Mason's friend Lee Brackett after Deborah Myers' suicide. Sheriff Brackett did not want the baby to carry the stigma of her family, so he ommited her from the records of what had happened with the Myers family. Cynthia and her husband raised Laurie in a normal life.

On October 31 2007, Cynthia spent the day getting prepared for Halloween night while Laurie was at school and Mason was at work. In the afternoon, Michael Myers watched her and Laurie prepare decorations as he had followed Laurie home. That night, she shared a moment with her daughter where they talked about Laurie's childhood and future graduation. After Laurie left with Annie Brackett, Cynthia and Mason discussed their upcoming vacation before Cynthia went inside.

Unbeknownst to her, seconds later after she went inside, her husband was killed. Michael walked in the house with Mason's dead body and tried to attack Cynthia, who tried to defend herself by throwing whatever she could against him. Michael attacked her, but she fought to escape and call the police. Michael grabbed her by the neck before she could make the call and showed her a picture of Laurie. Cynthia threw the picture out of his hands and told him to leave her baby alone. He then slammed her against a glass table and snapped her neck.[1]
